Pho.tog.ra.pher (fuh-tog-ruh-fer):
n. a person who takes photographs, especially one who practices
photography professionally.
With the evolution of photography
and the continuing availability of digital photography equipment,
picking a photographer is as easy as asking your roommate to use his
camera for a couple of hours and email you the photos when the event is
over. But documenting an event in a creative, artistic, and high
quality professional way is something else entirely.
Jennifer Rustigian focuses on capturing creative moments in a
photojournalistic way. Her photos speak to the senses. They
tell a story from her angle and perspective and create an element that
others taking photos will have missed- including style and the smallest
of details.
Her
photos have traditionally been fixtures and features for family and
friends and are a mixture of good composition, lighting, and unique
subjects. She enjoys taking "candid" portraits of children and
adults, as well as landscapes. Her favorite photographs seem to be
of children's birthdays, weddings, and other life events where people
have invited her to celebrate in their rites of passage.
